How to Install Floorp on Ubuntu and Other Linux Distros
It offers an PPA for Debian and Ubuntu-based distributions that can be easily added to your system by running the following two commands:
- curl -fsSL https://ppa.ablaze.one/KEY.gpg | sudo gpg --dearmor -o /usr/share/keyrings/Floorp.gpg
- sudo curl -sS --compressed -o /etc/apt/sources.list.d/Floorp.list 'https://ppa.ablaze.one/Floorp.list'
Then run the following command to update the repository and install the latest version of Floorp on your Debian and Ubuntu-based distributions:
- sudo apt update
- sudo apt install floorp
Users using a Linux distribution such as Redhat, Fedora, AlmaLinux, Arch, Manjaro, etc. can easily install it from the Flathub via the Flatpak command (only available option for now):

How to Find and Launch Floorp
Once the installation is complete, you can locate and launch it from the application menu.

How to Update Floorp
The Floorp will automatically update itself in the background, just like a standard Firefox browser, requiring no manual action.
How to Remove Floorp
If you have installed it via PPA in your Debian or Ubuntu-based distribution, then run the following command to remove the Floorp package from your system:
- sudo apt --purge remove floorp
If you do not intend to install it in the future, then run the following two commands to remove the added signing key and Floorp repository added at the time of installation:
- sudo rm -rf /usr/share/keyrings/Floorp.gpg
- sudo rm -rf /etc/apt/sources.list.d/Floorp.list
Lastly, if you have installed it via Flatpak, then run.
- flatpak uninstall one.ablaze.floorp
